iPhone SE (3rd Generation) Review

A host of innovative developments were announced at the March 2022 Apple Event. One of these exciting announcements was the launch of the iPhone SE (3rd Generation). The third Generation of iPhone SE is now available. It offers the same compact size, a midrange price tag, and a wide range of premium specifications. Below, we look into the iPhone SE’s design, camera system, and other key features (3rd Generation).

iPhone SE Design & Display

The new iPhone SE is designed to be pocket-friendly. Apple continues to follow the tradition by using a 4.7-inch Retina HD LCD. This displays a wide range of colours and True Tone technology to adjust the screen’s colour saturation to match your surroundings. Although it may be smaller, the widescreen LCD screen provides an immersive viewing experience. It has vivid colours and smooth transitions, whether you are gaming, scrolling through social media, or watching your favourite shows.

The handset is constructed from a sturdy aluminium frame. Both the front and back of the device are made of glass. To resist fingerprint marks, both sides have an oleophobic layer. Apple’s iconic home button transforms functionality and houses an integrated ToughID fingerprint sensor for quick access to your device. The handset’s durable design also includes Apple’s toughest glass yet, both on the front and back. It is also IP67 waterproof and dust-resistant.

iPhone SE Camera System

This device’s camera system combines simplicity and high performance. This is partly due to the A15 Bionic Chip. The rear has a single 12MP broad lens and plenty of high-spec software and features.

Night Mode allows you to take stunning photos in dim lighting. Portrait mode lets you capture sharp images of your favourite people. It also includes Depth Control and advanced Bokeh so that your subject is always in focus. You can also choose from Natural, Studio, Contour, and High-Key Light Mono effects. Smart will then work on adjusting the lighting and contrast in your images until you have the best version of each shot.

Avid videographers will love to know that 4K can be recorded at different frames per second. Cinematic Image Stabilization makes shaky footage disappear and can help you get the professional-grade film. The A15 Bionic technology lets you make the most out of dark scenes and capture true-to-life colour, whether a slow sunset or a gathering of friends by the fire.

iPhone SE Power

iPhone SE (3rd Generation) comes with Apple’s fastest ever chip, the A15 Bionic. This ensures a smooth and efficient user experience. iPhone SE (3rd Generation) is Apple’s first SE device to be 5G Ready. This will allow for faster downloading, streaming, gaming, and Facetime calls with high-definition.

This device runs iOS15 as its operating system. It is intuitive and easy to use, with some new features. Share play lets you watch and listen to shows simultaneously with your contacts via FaceTime calls. This allows you to share the experience no matter where you may be. Spatial sound will also transform your video calls using AirPods. It positions individual voices according to their position on your display. This makes the virtual conversation feel more natural.

iPhone SE Battery

A pocket-sized device with a smaller screen is more convenient because it offers longer battery life. The new iPhone SE can recharge in less than an hour using fast charging. This adapter can charge up to 50% of your phone in half an hour. If you prefer not to use cables, you can wirelessly charge your handset by placing it face-up on a compatible charging pad.
